A copy of your ID is necessary to facilitate insurance claims by providing proper identification. Additionally, accurate cross-border documentation is crucial to ensure seamless transit through the border.
For trailers with a Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) exceeding 750kg, a Code EB license is mandatory both legally and for insurance purposes. However, trailers with a GVM of less than 750kg can be towed with a Code B license, which is sufficient.
At most campsites in SA, where 220V electricity is available, the trailer can be connected to charge its batteries. For bush camps, batteries can be recharged either through a solar panel (available as an extra) or from the vehicle using a battery cable equipped with a Brad Harrison Plug, which the client is responsible for installing.
We provide a fitted sheet with each trailer rental. You’re responsible for bringing the remaining linen yourself.
Prior to collection you will be contacted and a time scheduled for collection. Trailers are collected from and returned to our premises in Midrand or Silver Lakes.
